Hot Tub Cover, Water Absorption Warranty

The foam interior is protected against water absorption for at least twelve (12) months, which is the normal water absorption by the polystyrene foam core.

It is entirely natural for the polystyrene foam core to retain some moisture due to air movement among the polystyrene foam beads through water vapor. If the foam core becomes completely saturated with water during the first twelve (12) months with the standard 6 mil vapor barrier, or during the first twenty-four (24) months for covers with the enhanced 10 mil vapor barrier, or thirty-six (36) months on covers made with the enhanced 14 mil vapor barrier. If no other factor excluded by the warranty has contributed to the acceleration of water absorption, the polystyrene foam core(s) in question will be replaced at no cost.

This eight-year limited warranty comes into effect on the purchase date and is subject to the conditions, exclusions, and restrictions below.
